Exercise.
My little Armadillos, step away from your Type-Writing Machine, leave your fusty Study, and stroll Briskly about the Grounds for a short while. Let the fresh Air clear the muddled Thoughts from your mind; let the pounding of your Blood invigorate your Mind; let fresh Visions enrich your Thoughts.
Walk, then start Afresh. Report when you have completed your Task.
Directorate,
I have completed my task. It was a lovely walk; there were many birds to watch. Onward, now, to write!
Directorate,
I am wary of your insight into our lives. How could you know — well. Perhaps you presumed that if I were reading your directive, I would have been staring listlessly at the screen for some time.
It was darkening by the time I took to my task. I walked between tall trees, saw snowdrops slowly parting petal from petal. The wind tasted of iron and water, and was cold against my neck and cheeks. There has been a red heat in me all day, blooming, buffetting my insides — much like a verb hound, it required walking to cool it down.
I have since napped and swallowed it away, and so it is with a mellowed relief that I sit to tell you of it, and turn now, away, to work at supper for the hounds.
Though I might take some myself, first.
Dear Labrys,
During the course of the day, I shall wander through these bookshelves and remember that, as you told me, they are made of forest.
Sleep sweetly.
Ire-Claw
Dearest Ire-Claw,
Thank you. I pray to the sowers of ore that my dreams be full of our steels clashing a vicious music to the sky.
Love,
Labrys
Directorate,
I walked to my mum’s house. She fed me prawn cocktail.

I took a walk with a genius.
