		<description>This was a particularly interesting post.  (Also: yay!  Gustav has returned to posting).  I am intrigued by the random vs. synchronicity idea.  I would definitely be interested in seeing this explored more by the Directorate Staff.  (Indeed, I would be absolutely thrilled to see a take on this topic by each Directorate member in turn, but I am sure that is asking a lot...)

I am amazed at the &quot;listing all the conceivable possibilities&quot; of what happens next in a story in order to discover what really DOES happen next.  Where did all these ideas come from!?  Excellent advice.</description>
